Our restored dairy barn, also known as The Guernsey, was built prior to 1887 by the current owners’ ancestors.
The barn and farm have been in the family for more than 100 years. The building still contains much of the original woodwork, as well as a covered deck off the back that offers panoramic views of Emma Lake.
The old milk house has been converted into a prep kitchen and what was originally a hayloft now provides additional seating overlooking the main floor of the barn. There’s even a newly-built stage for the wedding party. The cellar has been renovated for ceremonies that need to be moved indoors due to weather, or space for a buffet or dance floor.
The picturesque countryside with our beautiful barn in the background serves as the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. You will love the quiet surroundings of the Amish area, as we’re located just seven miles from Shipshewana, IN.
Due to the unpredictable winter weather here in northern Indiana, our barn is only available for weddings from April through November.
