Our Barn

Our restored dairy barn, AKA The Guernsey, was built around 1887 by the current owners’ ancestors.

The barn still contains much of the original woodwork, as well as an enclosed deck off the back that offers panoramic views of Emma Lake.

The old milk house has been converted into a prep kitchen and what was originally a hayloft now provides additional seating overlooking the main floor of the barn. There’s a stage for your head tables, space for a dance floor, and even a renovated cellar used for the buffet or a backup ceremony site. And, you have to see the awesome grain bin we installed out back earlier this season... it's an outdoor bar!!

We do have heating and air conditioning, but due to the unpredictable weather here in Northern Indiana, our barn is only available for weddings from April through November.

Seriously, it's so peaceful here, you may just want to sit on the swing out back and listen to the clip-clop of the horse and buggies. (We are in Amish Country after all.) Oh, and did I mention we have photo ops galore?
